How to Attack Using Valkyrie - Clash of Clans

The Valkyrie stands as one of the most formidable troops in Clash of Clans, yet it remains underutilized by many players. This article will demonstrate the Valkyrie's strength, with the aim of encouraging more players to incorporate it into their attack strategies.

Valkyries are among my favorite units in Clash of Clans, particularly in TH 11 and lower. Their role is crucial. Many players utilize Valkyries to take down Town Hall levels 8, 9, 10, and even 11. Incorrect placement or troop and spell combinations can render an attack futile.

First, we need to know who is a Valkyrie?

The Information About Valkyrie

1. Valkyrie added on 12 March 2013
2. Valkyrie is always being refurbished, making its damage level increase.
3. Valkyrie is a female, with a face like an archer.
4. You can bring more than 30 Valkyries in one attack, this number depends on the level of your army camp. This number will increase if you have upgraded your clan castle to the maximum level. In clan war, you can add 8 Valkyries with a level 2 cloning spell.
5. Some players refer to Valkyrie as Pekka without armor, as she is a female and has a high damage output.
6. When attacking, the Valkyrie carries a heavy axe with a 360-degree rotating attack. This allows her to attack multiple buildings at once in a single strike.

8. If one of the buildings is destroyed, the Valkyrie will head between the two neighboring buildings.

Valkyries are capable of attacking from Town Hall 8 through Town Hall 10. Below, I will present the optimal composition for deploying Valkyries in each respective Town Hall level:

1. Town hall 8

•  Troops = 8 Valkyrie + 10 Wizard + 6 Giant + 10 Archer + 4 Healer
• Clan castle = Valkyrie
• Spell = 2 Healing, 1 rage spell

2. Town Hall 9

•  Troops = 8 Valkyrie + 15 Wizard + 6 Giant + 10 Archer + 4 Healer
• Clan Castle = Valkyrie
• Spell = 4 earthquake + 2 healing + 1 rage spell

3. Town Hall 10  

•  Troops = 12 Valkyrie + 9 Wizard + 1 golem + 10 wallbreaker + 10 archers + 4 healers
• Clan castle = Valkyrie
• Spell = 4 earthquake + 2 freeze spell + 2 rage spell + 1 haste spell

4. Town Hall 11

•  Troops = 12 Valkyrie + 9 Wizard + 1 golem + 10 wallbreaker + 10 archer + 4 healers
• Clan castle = Valkyrie
• Spell = 4 earthquake + 2 freeze spell + 2 rage spell + 1 haste spell

Using only eight Valkyries in Town Hall levels 8 to 10 is strategic. Crafting a Valkyrie takes considerable time and waiting 3-4 hours for a single attack isn't practical. Therefore, eight is deemed the optimal number.

 

The Correct Spell for Valkyrie

1. Spell Healing is used for troops separated from the Healers
2. Spell rage is used in the middle of the base, when you want to finish everything right away.
3. Freeze spell used to freeze inferno Towers

 

How to attack using Valkyrie for TH 8 & TH 9

1. Deploy a Giant on one side of the village and quickly follow up with a Healer to support it. Using the Giant as a distraction can divert the enemy's defensive structures.
2. Deploy a wizard and archer to destroy the outbuildings to make a clear path for your Valkyrie.
3. Deploy the Valkyries one by one so that they head towards the center of the village
4. Lower the contents of the Clan Castle in the center, thus assisting the Valkyries in attacking
5. Then Healer and wizard to protect Valkyrie
6. Drop the rest of your troops and Heroes into battle
7. See how they destroy enemy villages and prepare your Spells to help them level them all.

With the level 11 update, the Valkyrie becomes significantly stronger, allowing for maximum attacks on Town Hall 11. It's even possible to achieve 3 stars when attacking a TH 11 with this level 5 Valkyrie.

Here are tips for attacking using Valkyrie TH 10 & TH 11:

1. Attempt to direct the Valkyrie towards the center for an attack.
2. You can deploy the Super Archer Queen, which is the Archer Queen accompanied by three or four healers, to eliminate the outermost defenses first.

4. Valkyrie will head to the neighboring buildings
5. Valkyrie is capable of destroying 4 buildings at once in a few turns
6. Valkyries are very weak against aerial attacks, especially dragons. So, try to lure the dragons in the enemy Clan Castle out first and then kill them.
7. You can use poison or poison spells to kill the dragon.
8. You'll need the Grand warden when you take on the inferno tower. The combination of Valkyrie and grand warden is deadly.
